Picking a snowboard is an adventure in choice paralysis. There are so many boards out there that it can be difficult to find the exact one that you want. This guide will help you filter for boards that meet a few key specs (like board length) and then you can click through and look at the various board pages to learn more.

Boot Size?

Boot size is important for estimating the width of your board. Reminder: snowboard boots should fit snug and without pain.

Gender?

Women's boards tend to be a bit softer than Men's boards, and usually have more "feminine" colors, but overall the differences in gendered boards is pretty minimal. You'll get the best results if you select two or more options.

FYI: most boards are unisex.

Ride switch?

Switch riding is when you ride non-dominant foot forward. If you never ride switch a directional board will perform better and be easier to handle. If you sometimes or always ride switch you'll want to consider a twin board.
